Day 20: Hickory Hills

The snow wash continues -- more bad, overthought freeheel skiing tonight at Hickory --complete with the obligatory "you alright, mister?" from small children. Ice, uneven conditions made a fine companion to my continued overthinking of technique. The result was several snowboard style wipeouts, the best of which involved the last bit of untouched, ungroomed powder at Hickory when the concrete crust tried to break my ankles once my tips submarined.
